Terry has over 30 years of professional experience in public practice representing a range of businesses from start-up to multi-million dollar revenue entities.
The personal service she extends to each and every client allows them the unique position of feeling comfortable and secure in the knowledge that they are well cared for. Her services include strategic planning, business consultation, tax planning, financial statement preparation and tax preparation for all business entities and individuals. Her expertise lies in working primarily with closely-held businesses and the owners of those businesses.
Her knowledge of accounting and tax matters has accumulated over years of experience with a regional accounting firm prior to forming Chaffins, Batdorf & Austell in 2008.
Terry has served on the Georgia Society of Taxation Committee, as Chair; the American Woman’s Society of CPA’s, as President; the Atlanta Women's Network, as Treasurer; and as Trustee on the Georgia Federal Tax Conference Board of Trustees, as President. She has recently relocated and opened the firm’s satellite office in Fort Worth, Texas.
Terry remains an active member of both the American Institute of CPA’s and Georgia Society of CPA’s.
